On July 2, 2021, Australia launched its first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation against A4 photocopy paper weighing 70 to 100 grams per square meter and 67 to 69 grams per square meter, originating from China. Australia also launched its first anti-dumping sunset review investigation against A4 photocopy paper weighing 70 to 100 grams per square meter, originating from Brazil, Indonesia, and Thailand. On February 3, 2023, the Australian Anti Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2023/005, stating that at the application of domestic Australian company Jackaroo Pty Ltd., anti-dumping exemption investigations will be conducted on A4 photocopy paper weighing 70 to 100 grams per square meter from Brazil, China, Indonesia, and Thailand, and anti-dumping exemption investigations will be conducted on products imported from China.
