Recently, Fedrigoni Group, a special paper company headquartered in Italy, announced that it had signed two strategic agreements. One of them is that the group has established a manufacturing partnership with Arjowiggins (Quzhou) Special Paper Co., Ltd. – the factory is a part of Arjowiggins Group, located in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, and is an enterprise that produces semi-transparent special paper. According to the data, the company, formerly known as Quzhou Humboldt Paper Industry Co., Ltd., was founded in 2003. It was jointly built by French Arnauwigens and Zhejiang Cairn, and later became a wholly-owned enterprise of Arnauwigens.
Arjowiggins Group filed for bankruptcy administration in September 2022.
The Quzhou factory is a leading manufacturer of translucent paper (Gateway, Idem and Sylvicta brands), with applications ranging from industrial design and graphic applications to packaging of food, consumer electronics and luxury goods. The factory has 130 employees and an annual production capacity of 7000 tons.
The Quzhou factory will strengthen Fedrigoni’s influence in the Asian market. The group has a wide distribution network in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia and Bangladesh, and has 11 warehouses and a self-adhesive material production factory in Hefei.
