The first amendment announced that from July 1, 2021, the Russian government will impose an export tariff of 10% on rough processed wood with a humidity of more than 22%, so as to restrict the export of rough processed wood in the name of sawn timber, curb the rise of domestic sawn timber prices and stimulate timber enterprises to produce high value-added products. According to relevant Russian laws and regulations, the export tariff of coniferous wood and oak per cubic meter shall not be less than 13 euro and 15 euro respectively, and no tariff has been imposed before; The export tariff of beech and ash wood is no less than 50 euros per cubic meter, compared with 10 euros and 12 euros per cubic meter respectively.
